This network aims to draw on mutual experience so as to:

1. raise the gender awareness within the member unions and promote the integration of women workers at all levels of the national trade unions,
2. ensure that the gender perspective is adequately reflected in all trade union programmes and activities,
3. ensure that CEE organisations are fully integrated in the work of the ITUC and the PERC.

The Women’s Network consists of 48 women’s structures of ITUC-affiliated and partner trade union confederations from 27 countries.
