The Global Union Federations and their European counterparts, the European Industry Federations, are promoting sectoral collective bargaining, solidarity and support to the company unions from a given sector or industry. The PERC cooperates with the GUFs on a broad range of issues, including organising, protecting workers in informal employment, migrants and workers in multinational enterprises, and working towards the eradication of child and forced labour. It also enhances cooperation of unions on protection of workers’ rights in different countries, and, with European Industry Federations, builds on the achievements of European social dialogue and promotes development of common trade union activities across the continent.
