Aimed at strengthening the capacity of Turkish trade unions concerning internal organisation, collective bargaining and methods of recruiting, training sessions addressed issues including European trade union representation systems, communication skills and strategy planning. Trainees successfully implemented actions to improve conditions in the workplace, with the results of this work to be disseminated during the final conference held in Istanbul in September 2007.
