The conference brought together more than 50 participants from Baltic and Scandinavian countries as well as from some NIS trade union organisations and GUFs. During the conference the national teams of Estonia, Latvia and LIthuania reported about organising practices in Scandinavian companies in their countries, while Hubert Cambier presented the project evaluation report. Representatives of UNI and IUF in NIS presented information about organising practices in the respective sectors, while BASTUN coordinator Mika Hakkinen informed about BASTUN initiatives to strengthen cross-border cooperation and capacities of unions.
