The president of SPMSH, Mrs Gezim Kalaja, stressed that these agreements were signed after 3 months of negotiations and covers approximately 700 employees in this sector.
First of the agreements was signed with the Cement Factory in Fushe Kruja, and the second with the Cement Factory in Elbasan.
By signing these agreements, Trade Unions achieved a job security for the period from January 2017 until January of 2019 (as long as the agreement is active) for the workers in these companies. That is a great outcome in the time of the ongoing crisis in the world.
At the same time, very important areas covered by these agreements are - freedom of association, remuneration of workers by setting up the wage increase up to 5% and the reward at the end of the year.
This successful outcome was reached with help and support of SPMSH and also of IndustriALL Global Union.
