BSPK-UITUK’s requests that are submitted to the Social Partner – Government are:
1. Continuation of payment in the amount of 100€ from the state budget to all workers of the public sector, until the approval of the Law on Wages; BSPK Federation’s proposals on the Law on Wages to be taken into consideration;
2. Start implementing the Law on Health Insurance;
3. Amend the Law on Pension Schemes Financed by the State, Law No. 04 / L-131, especially amend Article 8, Paragraph 1 and Subparagraphs 1.2 and 1.3, which are invoked in the Pension Insurance Law of 1983, according to which it is required to have 15 years of contribution to pension schemes before 01.01.1999.
The protest of tens of thousands of trade unionists from all over Kosovo ran calmly and ended peacefully. Numerous caregivers took care of its smooth flow, as well as the Kosovo Police and the Emergency Medical Service.
President of the Union of Independent Trade Unions of Kosovo, Mr. Atdhe Hykolli, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Union of Independent Trade Unions of Kosovo, thanks the participants in the protest for their correctness and commitment, as well as many citizens, especially the Kosovo Police and the Emergency Medical Service in the care shown and willingness to help and support the smooth flow of today’s protest.
